First off, I hit #206 on the Mythic ladder (BO3) with this brew.

I think it has pretty good matchups in this meta, having some game against pretty much anything.

My original idea was to have a bunch of burn spells as removal for aggro matchups (including lightning helix for life gain), and have all of them also hit face to burn out control opponents. I also had Quintorious as inspiration to build the deck, because it is GG to ult with a bunch of burn in the yard.

Quint eventually had to go, it didn\’t get to do it\’s thing as often as I would like, and having to defend a planeswalker is problematic. I added virtue of loyalty in its place as a 5 drop that can win the game, with the added benefit of also being a 2 drop.

Other cards I experimented with: Magda (even had some crime lands to crime it up, but most of the time she just died), Anim Pakal (cut on the last version for one more Inti), Ill-timed explosion (used it when I added blue to the deck, eventually landed on deduce for card draw and white sweepers), Aven Interrupter (cut for Three steps ahead, its nice that it can get around cavern of souls, but too often it is just killed and the card replayed for free), End the festivities (great with Taii Wakeen, but Seismic wave and Vanquish the hoard are more consistent by itself).

Important additions: Blue gives the main deck its much needed card draw with Deduce, Slick sequence and Three steps ahead, and also the very important counters and Zurgo for the sideboard.

Taii Wakeen was a perfect fit once I discovered it, also gives draw (sometimes), helps to kill bigger creatures or finish the game with burn.

Inti sometimes wins the game by herself on the play, so I added the third copy, but I usually go to one on the post sideboarded games on the draw.

Kutzil\’s flanker is a versatile card that can shutdown graveyard based decks hard, while also being helpful against monored and control.

Nahiri\’s Warcrafting is surprisingly useful, a lot of times killing a shelly of something smaller and hitting land drop, but can be clunky in some matchups.

Your creature lands are very important, they will win some grindy games.

1 of Squee brings the gas.

Farewell can win some games by itself.

The Marches were originally sideboard only (as they don\’t go face or deal damage), but I noticed I always brought them in. They are just too useful…  easily dealing with creature lands, big creatures, small creatures, exiling is great, they can be discounted to regain tempo… They really make the deck run smoother.

Now for some quick sideboard tips:

You can be flexible in the number of threats, going Inti, Taii, Squee and tokens, or removing almost everything and going Zurgo and Ojutai, mostly blanking their removal or forcing it on wedding announcement tokens. When they are threat light, remove most of the burn for counterspells. For control in general, Gobakhan can be very helpful, and against domain ramp Elesh and sweepers are your best friends.

Well, the deck probably can be improved as it still has too many one and two offs, but the balance feels right… Feel free to ask questions of make suggestions. That\’s it, I hope someone enjoys this one!
