Mostly a control deck but can function as a midrange if you need it to.  Meaning, you have the option — some games you can sit back and bide your time, just taking care of the opponent\’s board in early turns and not placing down any permanents of your own.  But then in other games, if you need to, you can push early on… start dropping creatures on turn 3 and 4,

Deck has some major digging potential, with Omen of the Sea and Memory Deluge.  If you need a particular answer, you can hopefully dig for it and find it.

Argivian Welcome is my secret weapon.  Not sure why I never see anyone else play it.  Instant speed board wipes make me a very, very happy control player.  Completely changes the way you can approach agro decks.  Dropping an instant speed board wipe against Goblins on their combat step when they think they\’re about to swing for 20 points of damage is especially delicious.
